My husband and I recently travelled to Presidio as one of our stops on our vacation trail. We were so excited about viewing the ranchette we purchased through West Fork Ranches. David Linsenbaum had stated to us previously that our hotel stay would be taken care of. .First of all, the trip into West Texas was a gorgeous and most scenic one and as we entered the Presidio area, we were surrounded by the beauty and majesty of the majestic Chiso Mountains and the Chihuahuan desert. The second greatest joy was the actual viewing of our property. Highway 170 proved to be one of ecstasy. As we quietly drove to our property, the first thing we saw was the beautiful gated entrance into our property with the words WEST FORK RANCHES at the top of the gate. The environment seemed so surreal, almost ethereal. To the south of our property was the exquisite beauty of the Chihuahuan mountains with a view of Chinati peak to the west, and the Chisos mountains in back of us. At the same time we knew that we were surrounded by thousands of years of incredible history. It was a breathtaking sight and one which we will hold dear in our hearts as we look forward to going back. Our tract is not far from the Rio Grande River and the natural habitat surrounding it. For everyone who enjoys the natural beauty of God’s creation and all the wonderful outdoor activities available in this area, this is a wonderful place to retire, a land that will provide peace, beauty, and much joy. All in all, we would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking forward to “getting away from it all”.
